Congratulations and a big thank you to the entire Golf International team for arranging such a terrific trip to The British Open at St. Andrews, it really was the trip of a lifetime.

While our husbands played golf, we who are not players were taken on some truly memorable sightseeing excursions and with the expert guidance of our knowledgeable and personable driver/guide, experienced the beauty and fascination of Scotland and the super friendly, Scottish people.

Your restaurant choices couldn’t have been better, the hotels, nothing less and despite some terrible weather, The British Open itself was even more exciting than we had been told it would be.

I shouldn’t miss telling you that all of the golfers on the trip, also thoroughly enjoyed playing what they described as some of the world’s very best golf courses. I think they all left Scotland totally inspired by their playing experiences and plans are afoot to return. Of course we will be relying on our friends at Golf International to bring the trip together for us.

Again, many, many thanks for this fantastic first experience, we are all looking forward with great anticipation to the next one.
