British Open & Ryder Cup Golf Courses

British Open
Of the four “Major” Golf Championships, none can boast the history, grandeur and sheer majesty of the 154 year-old, British Open. This is golf’s undisputed event of the year; a celebration of golfing excellence and the ultimate examination of the game’s most accomplished players, each battling for international glory over the world’s most challenging layouts.

The elite listing of just 9 British links courses that alternate hosting each year’s Open might be the golfing world’s most exclusive “club” and in 2015, the honor falls upon the most famous of them all, St. Andrews fabled Old Course, the true Home of Golf.

The thrills and excitement The Open always provides are never greater than when St. Andrews is the stage, making 2015 an ideal year to be there and savor golf’s most unique experience, in person.

This will be Golf International’s 27th consecutive year of operating escorted tours to The Open, making us the most experienced British Open specialist in the business, so take advantage of our expertise.

Ryder Cup
National golf pride comes to the forefront every two years, when the top touring pros of the United States take on the best of European players, in the bi-annual, Ryder Cup Tournament.

Since the very first Ryder Cup was held at Worcester, Massachusetts, in 1927,  many European golf clubs have had the honor of hosting the tournament, but only Ireland’s K-Club (2006) and Spain’s Valderrama (1997) have been outside of the United Kingdom.
