Mid Afternoon: Golfers: Play Castlerock Mussenden Championship Course – The classic links course at Castlerock was originally extended to an 18-hole layout in 1908 by Scottish club maker, Ben Sayers and in 1925, refined by the master of golf course design, Harry S. Colt (of Royal Portrush fame). Today it is considered one of the best links courses in the country, presenting a strong test of golf to be appreciated by any connoisseur of the game. Undulating fairways an active railway line and punishing bunkers are only made more challenging by the omnipresent winds blowing in from the sea. Some of the most spectacular views of this dramatically beautiful coastline are just an added bonus.
